From Ideas to Concrete AI Use Cases in 2 Days
From Ideas to Concrete AI Use Cases in 2 Days

Clarity for Your AI Use Cases. Focus Instead of Reactionism.
This is exactly where our AI ideation workshop comes in. It delivers:
- Clarity: You identify which AI ideas are truly relevant for your business — and which are not.
- Focus: You move away from parallel initiatives and tool discussions toward clear priorities.
- Structure: You turn vague AI ideas into concrete, evaluable use cases.
- Decision-readiness: You know where to start, what can wait, and where investments pay off.
- Autonomy: You act with overview and structure instead of under pressure or on gut feeling.

What the AI Workshop Delivers
Prove Competence. Meet Compliance.
All participants receive a personal certificate as proof of their acquired AI competence. The AI Ideation Workshop provides in-depth, practical knowledge about how AI works, its applications, and its limitations in a business context.
The certificate serves as formal proof of sufficient AI literacy for providers and operators of AI systems under EU AI Act compliance requirements.

Questions & Answers
The AI Ideation Workshop is designed for individuals and teams who need to translate AI into concrete use cases and a clear roadmap.
It is aimed at organizations
- that have few or no concrete AI ideas and want to start systematically
- that have many unsorted ideas and need priorities
- that need to arrive at actionable AI use cases and clear decisions in a short time
A clear mandate is recommended — for example, from executive leadership or an AI-responsible team — to develop a solid foundation for next steps.
In midsize companies and large enterprises, the AI Ideation Workshop typically focuses on a specific organizational unit, such as a department, process, or product. In smaller companies, the group is often broader, as responsibilities and topics are more consolidated.
The AI Ideation Workshop takes two days.
On the first day, we build a shared understanding, map out AI capabilities, and develop and prioritize initial AI ideas. This is followed by a first group work session where selected ideas are already worked out in detail and presented to the group. The day ends with a joint dinner.
On the second day, the prioritized ideas are deepened in further group work sessions, assessed from a business and regulatory perspective, and translated into a clear roadmap. The result: actionable AI use cases and concrete next steps.
No prior AI knowledge is required for the AI Ideation Workshop.
The format is designed so that all participants can actively contribute, regardless of their technical or professional background. Core AI capabilities are explained in accessible terms and applied directly to real-world processes, products, or services.
Existing knowledge is not a barrier — it's helpful. What matters is not how much AI knowledge you have, but that participants understand their business context and are ready to think about new solutions with AI. The AI workshop builds AI literacy systematically — regardless of starting level.
Yes — the AI Ideation Workshop is valuable even if there are only few or no concrete AI ideas yet.
Especially at the beginning, the format helps you think about AI not abstractly or tool-driven, but starting from your own processes, products, and real business challenges. Missing or vague ideas are systematically replaced by concrete, developed AI use cases with clear relevance to your organization.
This creates early clarity on where to start and what comes next. Instead of reactionism or premature decisions, the workshop delivers an actionable roadmap for the next steps of your AI journey.
The AI Ideation Workshop should include people who know the business context well and can champion or follow through on the developed ideas.
The focus is usually on department heads or product owners who work directly with processes, services, or products and see AI potential there. This group can be usefully complemented by colleagues from IT and controlling, as they are typically involved in later implementation anyway.
What matters is less the formal role than the group’s ability to work together. Participants should share a common understanding of the workflows being examined and be able to discuss concrete challenges openly.
Depending on the objective, this creates a focused working group that combines domain expertise with technical feasibility — without slowing down the workshop with too many perspectives.
For each prioritized AI use case, a robust documentation of approximately 2 to 4 pages is produced. Additionally, there is an overarching roadmap and a workshop summary, so the total documentation typically ranges from 15 to 30 pages depending on the number of use cases.
The documentation includes:
- a clear description of the current process and key challenges
- a concrete target state and the intended AI application
- an assessment of value, business viability, and effort
- a regulatory assessment (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act compliance, human-in-the-loop)
- placement within a prioritized roadmap
The depth is deliberately chosen so it is clear what should be implemented, why it makes sense, and what the next step looks like. The documentation bridges the gap between idea and real implementation — and serves as the foundation for continued collaboration with PLAN D.
After the AI Ideation Workshop, you have concrete, prioritized AI use cases and a clear roadmap showing where to start and what comes next. If you want to move into execution, we are happy to advise and support you. Possible next steps along our product portfolio:
AI Pilot
The AI Pilot is the fast track into implementation. In a short time, we develop a working prototype that makes a selected use case tangible, validates assumptions, and delivers first visible results — with manageable effort and a clear learning curve.
100-Day MVP
With the 100-Day MVP, we move into full-scale implementation. Within a fixed time and budget frame, we deliver a productive AI solution that is used in real operations and serves as a foundation for further development and scaling.
AI Team
In our AI Strategy Team or AI Tech Team advisory format, we support you long-term on all strategic and technical questions along your AI journey.
AI Platform Galilea
Alternatively or additionally, you can become a user of our AI Platform Galilea. Galilea enables the secure and GDPR-compliant use of large language models and makes your company’s knowledge intelligently accessible at all times.
PLAN D combines strategic clarity with real implementation experience. Our work is based on actual AI projects — not theory or buzzwords. We know how AI works in organizations, where it creates value, and where its limits lie.
Our formats are clearly defined and offered at a fixed price. That creates predictability and confidence. With experience from many management workshops and complex decision processes, we facilitate in a way that creates orientation and enables decisions.
PLAN D supports companies along their entire AI journey — from initial assessment to concrete implementation steps to long-term development. We approach AI responsibly and with regulatory rigor, providing well-founded guidance on GDPR and EU AI Act compliance.
As a partner, we understand the reality of midsize companies and complex organizations. We work as a long-term, reliable partner — not as a short-term impulse provider.
